Yay! You’ve made an appointment. Now here’s what you need to know.

 

What do I have to have to be prepared?

Please have a chair set up, preferably outside if weather permits, and ideally with a straight, low back so I can easily access the bottom of your hair. Stools work great too, as long as they’re not too high.

If your haircut requires clippers or a blow dryer please have the chair set up next to a place where I can access an electrical outlet if needed, I have a 12-foot extension cord if needed. I do have rechargeable cordless tools and attempt to use them as much as possible.

Should my hair be wet?

If you’re getting a clipper cut please have it dry. If you have very curly hair please keep it dry so I can assess the texture before the cut. Otherwise, if you’d like to wash it before I arrive please do so, if not I’ll have a spray bottle I can use to wet it down.

How will I know when you’re coming?

I’ll confirm the appointment 1-2 days in advance and I’ll text you when I’m on my way! As I am likely coming from another client I may be slightly earlier or later than our arranged time so please be flexible.

How much does it cost?

Haircut prices start at $50 for men, $65 for women and $45 for children. Prices include travel to your home or desired location ($30 extra for Chappy) and are starting prices, subject to change. You can view a full list of services and prices here. Tips of course, are always appreciated!

What payments do you accept?

Cash is highly preferred. Check, PayPal, credit cards and Venmo (username @angela-prout) can be accepted.

What safety protocols will be adhered to?

- Face masks for both stylist and client unless a beard trim or shave is being conducted.
- Gloves worn by stylist, glove changes for each client
- All tools properly cleaned and disinfected between clients
- Clean capes for each client
- Outdoor services conducted as much as possible (that’s my preference!)
- I’m fully vaccinated and boosted for extra protection!

Before our appointment please confirm you have read and agree to the following:

☑️ I agree to cancel my appointment should me or a member of my household experience any COVID-19 related symptoms leading up to the service including:
- Fever/temperature
- Shortness of breath
- Loss of sense of taste or smell
- Dry cough
- Runny nose
- Sore throat

☑️ I understand that given the characteristics of hair services this is a high touch experience (amid a still-ongoing pandemic!) and I will comply with all safety protocols.
